Great companies don’t have sacred cows.

They have sacred principles.
Every organization has its big personalities, the confident voices, the seasoned stars, the ones who seem to orbit just above the rules.
Handled well, these individuals can be powerful drivers of energy and ambition.
Handled poorly, they become blockers of change.
The best companies don’t let charisma outweigh contribution. They don’t confuse noise with leadership. And they definitely don’t hand out special rules for “special people.”
Instead, they build cultures where:
- No one is above feedback
- Respect flows sideways, not just upward
- Value is earned, not assumed
Because true transformation isn’t about silencing strong voices, it’s about making sure everyone’s playing by the same scorecard.
