Phones everywhere.
Machines occupied.
Half-training, half-scrolling.
Attention split 50/50… usually in favor of the screen. Poor form, high pride, and zero appetite for unsolicited advice. So you just observe… and pass.
Outside the window, a capybara walked by unbothered, ego-less, and fully present. No metrics. No notifications. No injuries. Nature’s flex.
I ended up on the spinning bike, the one machine nobody competes for because you can’t take good selfies on it.
Two Sunday morning reflections:
1. Attention is the rarest resource, in business, training, and life.
2. Advice only works when invited, otherwise pride gets in the way.
The capybara approach is underrated: ignore the noise and keep moving.
